Servant Leadership on the High Seas!

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

I was so impressed with the extraordinary service last week aboard the Mariner of the Seas, a beautiful Royal Caribbean International cruise ship. From Gregory, our stateroom attendant from Jamaica to Mihai, our primary dinner waiter from Romania, and everywhere else around the ship, the service was outstanding and joyfully provided at every turn. Everyone was smiling as they gave us the royal treatment.

The kind of service we received does not exist consistently without excellent leadership (my guess was “servant leadership.”), so I requested and was granted an interview with Captain Johnny Faevelen. I was not disappointed.CaptainJohnnypicture
