ROI for Soft Skills Training
ByI was talking today with a former Director of Executive Development for a major company – one of the best companies to work for in the U.S. He reminded me of how his organization was able to calculate ROI for the Enlightened Leadership Solutions work we had done for him.
There is a friendly little challenge for you at the end of the 8 minute video.
Listen to it now and provide your comments!
What are your thoughts about the video, the ROI calculation and the challenge? Comment now, or send us an email.
Best regards,
Ed Oakley & the Enlightened Leadership Team

ROI is always a challenge — the hardest evaluation to get real numbers for. I work in municipal government, and profit is not a helpful measurement. How could we apply the excellent lesson that your guest offered? I’m wondering what language/questions would help us collect similar data for our soft (critical) skills training. This is a great addition to your mix of lessons! Thank you.

Thanks for the concept. I think all of us responsible for training have a system, formal or informal, for evaluating the benefit of training. ROI is a good catch phrase and concept. I would have liked to heard a little about methodology and not just the concept in the video.
