ELS, a growing training and consulting firm whose mission is leveraging human performance into organizational results, is seeking a Consultant. Candidate will be responsible for assessing, recommending and implementing performance solutions for ELS clients.

We have found that consulting is often based on two assumptions: (1) consultants are the experts, and (2) they have the answers to a client's challenges. Often, as a result, the client becomes dependent upon the consultant to sustain any kind of result.

Our consulting philosophy is: THE CLIENT IS THE EXPERT. Most of the answers a client needs are already in their organization. We will never know as much about the challenges, needs and opportunities of a client's organization as they do. In fact, most of our clients are clear about WHAT they want to do, they just want some support in HOW to get there.

We have developed models and processes that will help our clients identify what will make the biggest difference in the shortest amount of time, and to collaborate with them on a plan and process on how to get there with measurable milestones along the way.

Knowledge and skills are transferred along the way, eliminating the dependencies that are often created on external organizations for sustainability after the consulting process ends.

The Management Consultant role will:

  •  Work with the Business Development division to develop and leverage sales opportunities
  • Establish relationships with clients at all levels, including C-level
  • Perform the necessary client assessments and interviews to gain insight into their issues and what solutions are a best fit
  • Develop and implement leadership strategies for a multiplicity of clients
  • Be responsible for ensuring complete client satisfaction
  • Ability to deliver in-house workshops is preferred
  • Help develop new material and best practices

 

The right candidate will posses all of the following traits:

  • Excellent listening skills
  • Aggressive, client focused, self-managed capabilities with the ability to work remotely and in teams
  • Works well in a constantly changing, flexible environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interface with high-level managers, Presidents, and CEOs
  • High integrity, follow-through, and detail oriented.
  • Network of contacts for future opportunities a plus
