Much of learning is informal.
It happens at the water cooler, in impromptu conversations or via
a quick response to an email question. Peers are an excellent source
for this just-in-time information. They can sympathize with the
circumstances of the position and can offer input from their view.
ELS has added some structure to this learning element that allows
people to learn more from those at their level. Peer groups assemble
peers to participate in a series of facilitated discussions around
topics that they face on a daily basis. Participants are able
to share best practices, avoid ineffective methods, and ultimately
learn from one another.
